The department "Radiotechnical systems" was created on the faculty of control and measuring and radiocomputer systems by the order of the rector on September 1, 2009. The department provides educational process for the training of specialists in educational and qualification levels "Bachelor" and "Master" in the field of knowledge 17 "Electronics and Telecommunications" with a focus on specialty 172 "Telecommunications and Radio Engineering".
In the period from 2004 to 2009 training of specialists in the aforementioned direction was carried out by the department of radiocomputer systems (the head of the department is the candidate of technical sciences, associate professor Lupenko Sergey Anatolyevich).
From 2009 till 2013 the professional staff of the department of radio engineering systems was headed by Candidate of Technical Sciences, Assoc. Yaskiv Volodymyr Ivanovich, specialist in the field of electric energy converters, head of the research laboratory of secondary power supply systems (НДЛ-2). Graduated from the Faculty of Electromechanics of the Lviv Polytechnic Institute in 1986, has been working at the University since 1993, after graduating from the post-graduate course of the Moscow Power Engineering Institute and defending his Ph.D. thesis in specialty 05.09.12 "Semiconductor Power Transformers". In 2008, he graduated from the doctorate in the same scientific specialty (scientific adviser of the doctoral dissertation, a leading researcher at the Institute of Electrodynamics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, doctor of technical sciences, professor Yurchenko Nikolay Nikolaevich, visit-professor of the department).
From 2013 till 2017 he was acting head of the department, Doctor of Technical Sciences, prof. Shepherd Oleg Anatolievich, graduate of the Department of Biotechnical Systems of the Ternopil National Technical University named after Ivan Puluj. In 2003 he defended his Ph.D. thesis for obtaining the degree of a candidate of technical sciences and in 2013 he defended his doctoral dissertation. The title of professor was awarded in 2014 by the Department of Radio Systems.
Since 2017, the duties of the head of the department is performed by the candidate of technical sciences. Dunets Vasyl Lyubomyrovich, a graduate of the Department of Biotechnical Systems of the Ternopil National Technical University named after Ivan Puluj. In 2013 he defended his Ph.D. thesis for the degree of a candidate of technical sciences on the topic: "Mathematical model and method for working out of electrocardiosignal at physical load for the improvement of accuracy of cardiodegactic systems" in the specialty: 01.05.02 - Mathematical modeling and computational methods (scientific supervisor d.f Prof. Dragan Y.P.). At the Department of Radio Systems works from 2013: Assistant (since 2013), Senior Lecturer (from 2015), Associate Professor (since 2016).
An assistant of the department Martsenyuk Anatoly Sergiyovych, a graduate of the Radio Engineering Faculty of the Vinnytsia Polytechnic Institute in 1989, occupies the post of the Deputy Head of the Department. He has been working at the university since 1989.
Teaching of disciplines at the department is carried out by:
